Hi folks! We need your help!
While we’ve had fun with our boot animations before, we all feel it’s time for a refresh… so we’re turning to YOU. This is a chance for you to have your work showcased in our ROM… aaaaaaaaaaaaand… get a fresh new gadget to boot!
What we’re looking for is a clean, original boot animation! Nothing rehashed, or revisited; something that really just looks awesome and is great and is new. Unicorns, no unicorns… the choice is yours. We know that isn’t much to go on, but hey, this contest spawned from our lack of ideas on this front! Wow us!
We want this boot animation to work on ALL the devices we support; if this is not going to be possible, please refrain from entering! Note: a sample of your end product will be fine, but prizes won’t be sent until we have the whole thing!

The entry we deem the best will earn its creator a credit on aokp.co, oodles of people gazing lovingly at their work with every reboot on AOKP, and…
…their choice of a new Nexus 5 or Nexus 7, any model/color available on the Play Store. One runner-up will receive a consolation Chromecast.
This contest starts RIGHT NOW, and ends on Friday, February 7, 2014. Lots of time means we hope for lots of quality! Winners will be selected by us, and announced on Friday, February 14th, 2014.
